توصل المجلس والبرلمان الأوروبي إلى اتفاق حول الميزانية السنوية للاتحاد لعام 2026، والتي تبلغ 192.8 مليار يورو في الالتزامات و190.1 مليار يورو في الدفعات، مع الإبقاء على 715.7 مليون يورو ضمن سقوف الإنفاق للإطار المالي متعدد السنوات 2021-2027 لمواجهة الاحتياجات غير المتوقعة، وفق بيان رسمي للمجلس الأوروبي في بروكسل.
وأوضح المجلس الأوروبي أن ميزانية العام القادم تركز على تعزيز القدرة التنافسية للاتحاد، وتقوية الجاهزية الدفاعية، ودعم المساعدات الإنسانية، ومعالجة الضغوط المرتبطة بالهجرة، مع ضمان المرونة في التعامل السريع مع الأزمات.

وتشمل بنود الميزانية الرئيسية 22.16 مليار يورو للسوق الموحدة والابتكار والرقمنة، و71.64 مليار يورو للتماسك والمرونة والقيم، و56.52 مليار يورو للموارد الطبيعية والبيئة، و5.01 مليار يورو للهجرة وإدارة الحدود، و2.81 مليار يورو للأمن والدفاع، و15.6 مليار يورو للجوار والعالم، إضافة إلى 13.27 مليار يورو للإدارة العامة الأوروبية و5.71 مليار يورو للأدوات الخاصة.
The Council and the European Parliament have reached an agreement on the annual budget of the Union for 2026, which amounts to €192.8 billion in commitments and €190.1 billion in payments, while keeping €715.7 million within the spending ceilings of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 to address unforeseen needs, according to an official statement from the European Council in Brussels.
The European Council clarified that next year's budget focuses on enhancing the Union's competitiveness, strengthening defense readiness, supporting humanitarian aid, addressing migration-related pressures, and ensuring flexibility in responding quickly to crises.

The main budget items include €22.16 billion for the single market, innovation, and digitalization, €71.64 billion for cohesion, resilience, and values, €56.52 billion for natural resources and the environment, €5.01 billion for migration and border management, €2.81 billion for security and defense, and €15.6 billion for neighborhood and the world, in addition to €13.27 billion for European public administration and €5.71 billion for special instruments.
