ووفق ما نقلته الصحف، فقد بدأت أوغوز تشعر بتحول جذري في حياتها، إذ أصبحت تعتمد على المساعدة في أبسط احتياجاتها اليومية. وأكد طبيبها المسؤول أن الالتهاب الحاد الذي أصاب منطقة البطن «كان من الممكن أن يفقدها حياتها»، محملاً المستشفى مسؤولية ما حدث، وفق ما أفادت به تقارير محلية.
