توج رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة المناورة الأمير سعود بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد آل سعود، ورئيس الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية الدكتور خالد بن صالح المزيني، الفائزين في البطولة الجامعية الأولى لكرة المناورة التي أقيمت في جامعة عفت بجدة خلال الفترة من 5 إلى 8 نوفمبر الجاري بمشاركة 250 لاعبًا يمثلون 17 جامعة وكلية.
وشهدت البطولة تشريف عضو مجلس الأمناء بجامعة عفت بجدة الأمير سعود بن تركي بن فيصل، ورئيسة الجامعة الدكتورة هيفاء جمل الليل.
وتُوج فريق جامعة الملك سعود بالمركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية، بينما حصد فريق جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن المركز الثاني والميدالية الفضية، فيما حصل فريق جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل على المركز الثالث والميدالية البرونزية.
وقدم رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة المناورة الأمير سعود بن عبدالعزيز، التهنئة للجامعات الفائزة في البطولة، التي تأتي امتدادًا لجهود الاتحاد من أجل نشر اللعبة في مختلف مناطق المملكة، واكتشاف المزيد من المواهب المميزة لتكون نواة للمنتخبات الوطنية.
وأشاد بالمستويات المميزة التي قدمتها فرق الجامعات، وهو ما أسهم في نجاح البطولة الجامعية الأولى لكرة المناورة، مقدمًا في هذا الصدد شكره للاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية على جهوده في تنظيم البطولة، ولجامعة عفت على الاستضافة الناجحة لفعاليات البطولة التي شهدت كذلك محاضرات للتعريف باللعبة وقوانينها بمشاركة طلاب وممثلي ومنسوبي الجامعات السعودية.
من جانبه ثمن رئيس الاتحاد السعودي للرياضة الجامعية الأستاذ الدكتور خالد المزيني، التعاون البنّاء مع الاتحاد السعودي لكرة المناورة بما يسهم في تعزيز ممارسة النشاط الرياضي، ونشره بين طلاب الجامعات ورعاية الحركة الرياضية الجامعية ودعمها وتطويرها، مشيدًا بالمستويات المميزة التي قدمها الطلاب خلال فعاليات البطولات، ومتمنيًا لهم التوفيق في مسيرتهم العلمية والرياضية.
يذكر أن الترتيب النهائي للمراكز الثمانية الأولى جاء على النحو التالي:
- المركز الأول: جامعة الملك سعود
- المركز الثاني: جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن
- المركز الثالث: جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل
- المركز الرابع: جامعة الأمير سطام بن عبدالعزيز
- المركز الخامس: جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود
- المركز السادس: جامعة عفت
- المركز السابع: كليات ومعاهد الهيئة الملكية بينبع
- المركز الثامن: جامعة الباحة
The President of the Saudi Federation for Futsal, Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Saud, and the President of the Saudi University Sports Federation, Dr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Muzaini, crowned the winners of the first university futsal championship held at Effat University in Jeddah from November 5 to 8, with the participation of 250 players representing 17 universities and colleges.
The championship was honored by the presence of a member of the Board of Trustees at Effat University in Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Turki bin Faisal, and the university's president, Dr. Haifa Jamal Al-Nail.
The King Saud University team was awarded first place and the gold medal, while the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals team secured second place and the silver medal, and the Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University team took third place and the bronze medal.
The President of the Saudi Federation for Futsal, Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz, congratulated the winning universities in the championship, which comes as an extension of the federation's efforts to promote the game in various regions of the Kingdom and discover more outstanding talents to serve as the nucleus for the national teams.
He praised the exceptional levels demonstrated by the university teams, which contributed to the success of the first university futsal championship, expressing his gratitude to the Saudi University Sports Federation for its efforts in organizing the championship, and to Effat University for successfully hosting the events of the championship, which also included lectures to introduce the game and its rules with the participation of students and representatives from Saudi universities.
For his part, the President of the Saudi University Sports Federation, Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Muzaini, appreciated the constructive cooperation with the Saudi Federation for Futsal, which contributes to enhancing sports activity, promoting it among university students, and supporting and developing university sports movement, praising the exceptional levels presented by the students during the championship events, and wishing them success in their academic and sports journeys.
It is worth mentioning that the final ranking of the top eight positions was as follows:
- First place: King Saud University
- Second place: King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
- Third place: Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University
- Fourth place: Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University
- Fifth place: Imam Muhammad bin Saud University
- Sixth place: Effat University
- Seventh place: Colleges and Institutes of the Royal Commission in Yanbu
- Eighth place: Al-Baha University
